Features 01
Expected Problems
Aren't you having these kinds of problems in corrosion evaluations of metal sheets/plates?
? Differences in measurement results depending on the individual worker.
? Can't accurately evaluate the corrosion depth due to large measurement error caused by warp and distortion.
? Can't measure the distribution of the corrosion depth over a wide range.
? Measurements take too much time.
Features 02
Technology highlight
? Laser slit lights are irradiated on both sides of the metal sheet sample, and the distance to the reflection position is measured with high accuracy by laser displacement sensors. The influence of warp and distortion is reduced by measurement from both sides, realizing highly accurate thickness measurement (Fig 1).
? The metal sheet sample is held on a holder, enabling wide-range scanning while moving in the X-Y directions (Fig. 2).
? Enables quantitative calculation of the corrosion depth from the thickness difference after removing corrosion products (Fig. 3).
? Non-contact, efficient multipoint measurement realizes detailed analysis of the corrosion depth distribution.
Features 03
Proposed Solutions (Examples)
? Sale of corrosion depth measurement system.
? Consigned measurement using the same device and linked with corrosion test equipment.
